Toward the beginning of the 1900s Abraham Gershone began selling used boxes in the Minneapolis area. Somewhere around 1908, Abraham purchased some land located on Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis... and Cedar Box Company was born. The "Cedar" in Cedar Box Company actually stems from its location on Cedar Avenue and not the type of boxes we sell (although we do sometimes make boxes from cedar).
In its early years Cedar Box Company sold used and misprint corrugated boxes, and almost immediately began manufacturing wood boxes and pallets. Around 1975 Cedar Box Company began manufacturing corrugated boxes in its plant in Minneapolis. Through reinvestment in the business, Cedar Box Company continues to expand its product and service offerings and can now fulfill all of your packaging needs.
Today, Cedar Box Company carries a wide variety of stock corrugated and wood boxes and specializes in custom orders and short runs at affordable prices.
