Green Efforts

PallettesCedar Box Company is committed to maintaining an environmentally friendly, green business model. For the past 20 years we have recycled or reused all of our scrap materials:

  • Wood shavings are sent to stables and farms for use as animal bedding.
  • Wood scraps and sawdust are burned in a custom made wood burning heating unit. The heat generated allows us to keep our warehouse heated throughout the winter.
  • Corrugated scraps are recycled and the majority of the corrugated we use is 80% recycled board.
  • We accept used pallets for repair and replace all broken boards for resale.

These combined measures help to reduce our waste to an absolute minimum.
